Today in class we talked about probability and statics. I was thinking about creating a flash base die but found this interesting site that has a nice write-up about statistics and dice.

Here are my directions on how to create a star scape like the image below.

You should be able to follow the directions below in any version of Gimp or Photoshop. The directions below are given specifically for Gimp but they will also work in Photoshop.

1. Create a new blank white image 640x480 pixelsBlack backgroundgr
2. Make sure that Image -> Mode -> RGB is selected
3. Select Filter -> Noise -> Hurl... Hurl seemed to be the best option that I had. I should give you a variation of colors all over the image.
